High waist shorts are my very favourite piece of clothing! Here you have my 5 top reasons why should we never take our shorts off:

1. IT MAKES LEGS LOOK LONGER. If you are (as myself) owners of a bit too short legs defo wear shorts. You will create an image of legs that reach heaven, trust me!
2. IT IMPROVES MY THE SHAPE OF MY ASS. There is a magical thing about shorts: if you have too small ass (like me) it will pretend to be bigger, if your ass is actually bigger, it will look smaller. I don't have a clue how it works, but wear a pair and observe the magic of 'ass shaping'.
3. IT GIVES FALSE IMPRESSION THAT MY WAIST IS SLIMMER. Self explanatory, isn't it?. High waist shorts with it triangular shape gives us this awesome hourglass shape.
4. IT IS MORE COMFY THAN MINI SKIRT. Have you tried to sit on the grass/blanket/floor in mini? It's more difficult than rhythmic gymnastics! Shorts do not cause this kind of trouble and gives you freedom of choice how and where you will sit.
5. IT SUITS TO MOST OF STUFF THAT I HAVE IN MY WARDROBE. It really does match either to trainers and hoodie or heels and fancy top...

Lets wear shorts and use it's magical powers to rule the world!

Winter has come, so I want to annunce that HAT SEASON is officially open. Don't be afraid that your hair will get over- dried and spray them with one of conditioning products and enjoy the variety of head covering.  This are some of mine hat-related inspirations. How are you going to style your HAT?

I can't have enough of black colour. I feel in it self confident, comfortable and beautiful, so I will wear it till the end of the world and one day more!

Here you can see one of my whole black sets. Sleeveless cardigan with leather/metal buckles on side is one of my essentials lately. I love it's a bit rough rectangular shape suiting perfectly to my looks and warming me up during winter weather.
How do you like it?

Have a good week guys!

From 1926 when Coco Chanel posted image of simple black dress in American Vogue, women from across the globe fell in love with this piece. It is one of the essentials that will help you to look classy during the day and astonishingly during the night. Lately I was missing black dress essential in my wardrobe, so I made a research and choose this couple of pieces from on-line stores.

How do you like it? Is any of them your favourite?

Lithuania was the last place I have visited during Baltic trip (impression from Heslinki are HERE, from Tallin HERE and from Latvia HERE)

How to travel there?
I was travelling to Lithuania from Riga and I have chosen EcoLines buses services (website HERE). Strength of it: internet connection via wifi is active regardless in which country you are. Weakness: seats are small, so not very comfy. Additional note: the bus did not come on time, eventhough there was no major obstacles on the way (35 min late).

What I have been doing there?
I have been visiting my friend at her place, in the village Kursenai, surrounded by wild forests and lakes.

The most amazing experience from this trip?
Waking up early in the morning to swim in the lake nearby. If you ever have opportunity to do so, try it! It is so refreshing and relaxing :D

What to eat in Lithuania?
Definitely try traditional dishes. It is quite fat, so do not overestimate you possibilities, but give it a try. Lithuania is full of restaurants serving so called- home food, which is fresh and made from local ingredients. I love the most: Saldus Kukurudzaj, soup served in loaf of bread, cooked white cheese.

Place to visit?
HILL OF CROSSES- one of sanctuary in Lithuania, name of it is self-explanatory, 'cos it is a hill with lots of crosses on it. The legend is sayin that, if you leave a croos there, it will bring luck to you and people you care about.
VILNIUS- capital city with beautiful art nouveau architecture. Unfortunately I had a bit of travel- issues when getting to Vilnius. After couple of hours I have been there I can definitely say I want to see more!

The most wanted accessories this winter is definitely blanket-scarf!

My obsession with blanket scarf started last year during trip to Lisbon (impressions of travel HERE). I have noticed that every Portugeese girl had over sized scarf  to cover herself with. Having their image in my mind I lust one! After a research on the market I found this beautiful piece from Zara (website HERE) and I think this is THE ONE that will enrich my wardrobe.

I think it is gonna look amazing with ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING (!), what do you think?

Have a good evening.

There was one morning, back in UK, when I woke up and knew that something has changed in my perception of life. This morning part of my consciousness that was dormant, woke up and started to scream out loud. Screaming part was one responsible for making my dreams becoming true and it was furious with my behavior. After being for myself too kind I had to face the truth- trip that was suppose to make me strong and help me to develop my passions ended up to be a nightmare presenting one of the worst scenarios of my life I could imagine. I felt trapped!

That morning make me to wonder how does it happen, that some people succeed in their lives, while others got stuck in between what they want and what they are given. I started to think how to improve my life and how to transform it to the one I am dreaming about.

I was always a do-kind of person with half full glass of water*1. There was nothing impossible for me and I used to get annoyed when hearing word IMPOSSIBLE. I tend to repeat: 'Nothing is impossible, unless someone doesn't want to make it happen!' and I strongly believe in it.

This is how I was living my life, firstly when I was a kid (I wanted to play violin- I played), than when I was a teenager (I wanted to write stories- I did) and later when I was a student (I wanted to move to Indonesia- I did). This very morning when I woke up in UK, feeling totally hopeless I thought: 'What have I done wrong, that despite plans I had, I end up in a life I was so embarrassed about???' I believe that acknowledging that something went wrong is first step to improve.

It may sound simple and obvious, but success is indeed  progressive realization of a worthy ideal. 'Worthy ideal' is a flexible and cleaver term, so it can be underlay with whatever one can imagine. If any ideal can be realized, than whatever one will imagine can be done. I asked myself : If there is so much space in this term and it is so open than why MY dreams cannot became true???

I found an answer when listening to a lecturer when hearing: 'Imagine ship that do not have any destination'. Where will it go, will it even leave a harbor? Probably not. Same is with our dreams and goals, if we wont set any up, we will not be driven by any forces to proceed them. Setting up the goal is the thing that need to be done, when hoping to become successful. No one can achieve anything without field in which he/she can be successful.

Now with set up goal and having desire to reach it, the how-to process has to be created. To help youreslf make notes, draw a map, write a synopsis, choose whatever is most comfortable for you, as it is to make your life easier. Think of small steps to get closer to your aim and make them. And please do not treat this personally, but STOP WASTING TIME FOCUS ON IMPROVEMENT INSTEAD.

Driven by passion let yourself to sacrifice some parts of your life to improve others. Think again of your main goal and think of all the things you have done day before to get closer to it. Need some stimulation? Try 'The rule of 5 things' advised by #BodoScheafer. Each day write on a piece of paper 5 things that made you proud of yourself that day. Not long after you will start making such listS, you will see how your overall life will improve.

Do you sometimes have a feeling that you do all what I wrote above, but still something gets wrong? Unfortunately, I have to admit, even if you follow all the advices given by 'all-the-smartest-people', something will not go as you imagine. We are not machines and there is no universal instruction 'how to be successful' with which we are getting born. Each of us is different and has to find their own way. It is normal and natural that we make mistakes, so lets look at them as signs to teach us how to do better than before and give us view on what can be done differently.

Learning to fail and do not give up is one of the most important abilities. My fitness trainer often says 'Why when choose success, failure is an option?'*5 so once you walk on the path of success work hard and you will see fruits of it.

Weekend has ended, but for me free time means work, work, work... Why??? Simply because I know what I want and where I wanna be in couple of years. I know that I can get there just with hard work and I try to devote every moment in my life to it.

Being so focused may be hard and meet many difficulties... All of us wants sometimes to go for a party or simply lie and do nothing... Everytime when I feel I have bit of a breakdown and I need more motivation I need someone to remind me what am I fighting for, so I am vey glad one of my friends shown me THIS article about how do we sabotage our lives without even knowing it. I found it very inspiring. Check it out, you wont regret it.

Not only to be inspired spiritually I found some visuals, which match to my vision of 'how-i-want-look' this week. I found these pics on blog I follow VictoriaTornegren'sKris SugatanCarolines ModeWho Wear What, The Chilli Cool ans others.

Do you like movies??? I do love to watch GOOD movies, but for quite a while i didn't see any, which would move me or made me emotional, but as you probably predict already that has recently it has changed for the case of The Grand Budapest Hotel.

I don't wanna spoil it for you, so wont say much about the plot. Movie is a story of the hotel and it is shown with use of amazing pictures (THIS DECORATION IS TO DIE FOR!) and with usage of amazing language- masterpiece of screenwriting!

If you don't have plans for weekend, you can give it a shoot!

Difficulties in decision making process which hunted recently my life are coming back as a boomerang. Goals... OMG, what do I actually mean by that??? I keep repeating to myself: Think, woman, think!

To help myself I decided to draw a map of my expectations and list there steps to follow. Sounds easy? Nothing could be more wrong! Not so difficult to name goals- from the very beginning I kinda know what I want, but thinking of correct path to make it happen is just killing me. The most difficlt is that my plan has to have a factor of flexibility, so I want also focus not only on naming goals itself, but also on selecting guidances, that will help me during moments of doubts as well as motivate me during days of glory. As a pattern I will use  what I hear from my fitness trainer (she is really good!) to keep me going and push myself to work out harder and harder everytime.

One of my recent looks, visualising quite how I feel the fashion lately. All black look with elements of leather and my fav accessories- mirror sunglasses, chunky boots and beloved TDK ST410 headphones around my neck.

Gotta do some thinking now...
Have a good evening!

Is all of you as happy as me that it is Friday???

This week was very though for me, 'cos of personal reasons and I actually wish it to be fully over... I dream it is already December and I have got all difficulties behind me...

All my problems are caused by the decision making process, which makes me feel so insecure. To cheer myself up, I think of one situation from the past. Some time ago I was placed in a train from Chiang Mai to Bangkok for more than 12 hours. Not to be bored there I made friends with a stranger and surprisingly it led to very open conversation. Speaking with someone I don't actually know made me very honest, much more than I am with people, whom I care about and as I was told by my companion, he felt exactly the same. And so it happened, we, two extraneous people, spoke about the deepest feeling they have. Total Catharsis!... I am mentioning it, because one very important sentence was said during this conversation and I believe it is so very true.

"When you are considering something, it means that you already made a decision, but somehow  you don't want to agree with it"- said my interlocutor. At that very moment it opened my eyes and led to great changes in my life, which I am currently happy about. Unfortunately today I am still not ready to face whatever I decided now, but I am hoping to be soon :)

As an addition one of my recent looks- when my mind is busy I tend to choose simple sets.

Have a good weekend guys!

Today another post from series: FOLLOWING MY DREAMS. I hope to both inspire and motivate you to take an action.

As I wrote you some time ago (HERE), I got a job during Fashion Philosophy Fashion Week Poland as a head of backstage for OFF OUT OF SCHEDULE fashion shows. Now after crazy week has gone and I am already at home, sitting comfortably in my bed, I can tell you that I find this experience priceless, as I learned so much and had a unique chance to check myself.

At the very beginning thought of this job was making my hair stand on end. I have worked couple of times during fashion shows, but never before was a head of it, okey, I actually have never before been a head of anything... Being in charge of anybody, teaching them what I know, while making satisfied not only my subordinates, but also bunch of other people like directors, designers, producers and basically anybody involved in the event was challenging. Damn, that responsibility bites!

First day was a nightmare! Public speeches explaining everything, introducing everyone, getting know everybody (REMEMBERING ALL THE NAMES!!!) and learning how to manage tasks given to others, not to do everything myself was exhaustive... Than day by day it was going smoother and smoother and trust me or not, when we eventually run the shows everything was perfect and everybody were super happy!

Now I am waiting (thrilled) for next challenge to come.

Hope your dreams come true!

Street style is one of my favourite in fashion industry. That is where I seek for inspiration and trends to follow. Street is always adapting the most comfortable and usable parts of fashion and wear it with grace. Here couple of looks I am ready to wear and couple not in my style, but so amazing I could not overcome it.

My very favourite of this fashion week was Macademian Girl- fashion blogger, who knows how to mix patterns. HERE you can see more of her looks.

Here you can see my favourite stylizations from Fashion Philosophy Fashion Week Poland.
