New Pressed Sweat!

I got tired of black sets, which lately were my main looks, that is why today I decided to go wild and make this gray winter alive with bright colors. 

Pressed sweat I bought on Sale, accidentally, while otw to work. Lately Iove playing with texture and baroque pressed pattern on this one makes it perfect for every occasion.  I think it's gonna be my favorite garment now! To make it even more perfect I will just add it's really warm and comfy. I love hunting on sales, as I can find awesome items in good price. Psyched! ^^

Spring/Summer 2014 Couture- show by Maison Martin Margiela

It is the third this January to rebuilt the ides of couture. After victory of youth, bringing trainers and protectors to the catwalk Maison Martin Margiela brought a patch-work to highest fashion type. 

Simplicity is the clue here. Gowns are replaced with T-shirt dresses, maxi dresses made as combined from printed sheets by Lloyd Wright, coates  in floral paterns, with pictures, leather details and my favorite tops made from patch-workied inserts in shape of sailors tattooes.  Every piece though looks amusing. 

Collection was very forward thinking, openminded understanding of high tailoring. Bringing kitsch to the catwalk in form of golden shoes or mantioned already sailor's tattoes is brave move and is very controversial, but this is Maison Martin Margiela, known from conceptual attitude to fashion and no less would be expected from him

Spring/Summer 2014 Couture- show by Elie Saab

Ellie Saab is the master of perfect gown,and he prooved it again today. His Haute Couture collection was full of floral, delicate details.

Collection, inspired by the work of Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema is kept in a pastel, romantic palette of colors with some accent of black or intensive coral colors. Designs are focused on building perfect shape of body and uses a lot of decorations. Mate is next to glossy, the floral details next to dyed, yet plain textiles. All this combination is mixed on the catwalk, but stays light, bright and with the affirmation of feminity.

Spring/Summer 2014 Couture- show by Giorgio Armani Prive

A parade of perfect evening gowns presented yesterday in Paris. The models, where stepping with pride shrouded by the glow of perfectly constructed garments and pausing the audiences breath.

Feminine but strong in it's construction jackets and coats were first to amuse us. Feminine design was combained with masculine prints on silk. The construction of pyjama suits and blazers glided between sparkling dresses. The presentation by tripelets of models kept focuse on what designer wanted to be seen.

The dresses as a separete chapter of this tale are fitted for red-carpet galas to make celebrities shine. The designs are subtle, in neutral colorssuch as nude, black. Transparent details do not promote nudity, but stay sophisticated and elegant.

Sparkling, but not shoddy are garments for day-dreaming princesses of now-a-days. Underlining all feminine aspects of woman bodies do not become obvious and refers in my mind to Tamare de Lempickas Women of Paris.

Spring/Summer 2014 Couture- show by Chanel

This years couture is going to be remebered as first where trainers gained on popularity. Chanel brings it to catwalk as a way to repeal to street-style focused fashion trends.

Designer created clear, bright and combained from pastels amazingly tailored collection. Dresses, skirts, jackets create geometrical construction, giving hourglass shape to models. “I felt it was time to see the waist again,” said Karl. The waist concentrated piece is in contrasting color, with some detail as shiny sequins, skirts are lying on the hips and blazers are short and wide. Designer is playing with texture. Plain white when looked closely are with lace detail, the contrasting with it black is feathered and glitter.

Bride in trainers? Why not! Designer decided to break the stereotype and went further with his skater-girl idea. During whole show we see details refering to sport accesorize. The bags are repressed by hip-pack, on models kneeswe can see protectors. Footwear suprisignly comfortable, trainers in it's most sophisticated form.

Yesterday after Dior's show I was so fully amused and discovered the new way of approaching the Haute Couture fashion. Todays event made me sure that new way of high fashion addressing is new trend. The youth and concentrating on praising it. Comfortably jumping around the catwalk models with acompany of Sebastien Tellier and his orchestra were bringing to mind young girls playing and enjoying their lifes.
