Are you struggling with lack of space in the closet? I do too... To tame a space in it, I make a clean up at least twice a year. To decide which clothes to give away or
FIRST THINGS FIRST! When making a big clean up the most important is to avoid giving away something that brings to your mind ay important memories. Some clothes may be old, not fashionable and not wearable, but 'cos of some reason you won't feel like throwing them away. I always keep these things, 'cos if I won't, I will hate myself. How to sift the content of my wardrobe? I divide clothes into two sections: 'sentimental' and 'useful'. Garments from 'sentimental' section I frame and hang on the wall to make me smile every day (or pack nicely and keep in the box the basement). 'Useful', as its's name suggest, are to be used, so keep just ones that are actually handy. Get rid of everything that is just occupying a space, by exposing it to the analysis. Follow the questions from sheet below to avoid storing useless jumpers, too big pants or ugly underwear.
When following the questions, every time you choose a sad face the garment is closer to get out of the closet. When you decide what to keep, look (critically!) at what you got rid off. Items, that still have some life in themselves, wash, pack into bags and donate to charity. What's left throw away and never regret it!
Now, when you finished, be proud of yourself! You not only made a good deed to the community, but also enabled yourself to use nice and organized closet! Well done, girl! :)
